* Regular Adult Membership

This is the standard, individual "adult" membership, for all persons from 18 to 64 years of age. Includes a subscription to the Griffith Observer and one name badge.

* Senior Membership
$30/year
This is the standard, individual "retired" membership, for all persons from 65 years of age on up. Includes one name badge. A subscription to the Griffith Observer is available for an additional $15/year.

* Youth Membership
$20/year
This is the standard, individual "youth" membership, for all persons under 18 years of age. Includes one name badge and a subscription to the Griffith Observer.

* Family Membership
$60/year
This category allows everyone in the family to be a member. Includes two name badges and a subscription to the Griffith Observer. Additional name badges are available at $8/badge.

* Senior Family Membership
$40/year
This category allows everyone in the family to be a member, as long as the head of the family is 65 years of age or older. Includes two name badges. A subscription to the Griffith Observer is available for an additional $15/year. Additional name badges are available at $8/badge.

* Life Membership
$500 one time payment
For individuals only; this way you can remain a member for the rest of your life, and never pay dues again. This does not include the cost of the subscription to the Griffith Observer, which is covered by the dues when membership is paid annually. It also does not include Star membership dues (see below), which are in addition to other dues.

* Star Membership
Not Available to incoming members
This membership category is available only to those who have been members in good standing, for at least one year, in one of the other membership categories. Star members have unrestricted access to our dark sky observing site, and have the opportunity to purchase an observing pad on the site. Star member dues are paid in addition to other membership dues. 

LAAS Bulletin
All members have access to the LAAS Bullentin through this website. Printed and mailed copies of the bulletin are available for an additional $15/year.
