Important Sky & Telescope update for LAAS members. To get your renewal to Sky & Telescope, simply send your renewal notice directly to Sky & Telescope, not to the LAAS treasurer. S&T has a new program that omits the middleman.

May 5th, 2008

Updated the Outreach Star Parties and Dark Sky Star Parties pages. Also updated the Events page: Dr. Leonidas Moustakas is scheduled to talk about Einstein Rings at the May 12th general meeting.

April 29th, 2008

Updated the Outreach Star Parties page. A new event was added that occurs on Friday, May 30th.  Also, updated the membership pages and uploaded the new LAAS Membership Application to reflect changes in the dues and membership categories. Updated the May 2008 Newsletter. A notice concerning an upcoming increase for the dues and a request for RTMC volunteers was added. If you have already downloaded a copy of the May 2008 newletter, please download a copy of the current version.

Updated the Meetings page. Important notes that the May Meeting wil be start at 7:00pm, not 8:00pm (no late arrivals) and that the June meeting has been moved up one week from June 11th to June 4th. The June meeting is at the normal 8:0pm time.
